1 Shot, 1 Sought In Aberdeen Shooting

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) – Aberdeen police are searching for an accused gunman after a Thanksgiving night shooting at an apartment complex.

Police Chief Henry Randle tells WCBI that Jonathan Gardner will be charged with aggravated assault and possession of firearm by a convicted felon. Gardner was not in custody as of 9:45 PM

Randle says Centywyli Garth was shot three times by a small caliber gun at Southview Apartments on Hardy Street, just before 6:30 PM.

Garth was taken to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo for treatment. His injuries are considered non life-threatening.

Randle did not release any information about what may have led to the gunfire.
