19th Annual “Take a Swing at Cancer” Golf Tournament Fundraiser Held in West Point

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) – Local golfers took to the greens in West Point Sunday morning to support the fight against cancer.

The Health Care Foundation of North Mississippi sponsored the 19th Annual “Take a Swing at Cancer” Golf benefit at Old Waverly.

Proceeds from the two-day event will go to the North Mississippi Medical Center Cancer Patient Fund.

The event will also include a live auction and a pottery-painting party for non-golfers.

The Cancer Patient Fund provides about $220,000 annually for needy patients and their families.
