Aberdeen Shooting Suspect Surrenders
ABERDEEN (WCBI) The man wanted for a Thanksgiving night shooting in Aberdeen is in custody.
Police Chief Henry Randle tells WCBI that Jonathan Gardner turned himself in Friday afternoon. Gardner will be charged with aggravated assault and possession of firearm by a convicted felon.
The charges stem from a shooting at the Southview Apartments on Hardy Street that left
Centywyli Garth suffering from three gunshot wounds.
Garth was taken to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo for treatment. His injuries are considered non life-threatening.
Chief Randle says they are still developing a motive for the shooting.
