[bitsontherun Gvpes2Gq]MONROE COUNTY, Miss. – (WCBI) The dogs rescued from a puppy mill in the Lackey Community are adjusting well at the Amory Humane Society. Over 100 dogs were rescued, of the 60 animals that were being housed at the shelter, only twenty are left that are now looking for a home.

“We’ve been continuing medical care, vaccinating and worming. And treating all skin conditions to get the animals back to good health,” said Samantha Eubanks, Amory Humane Society.

Several cats were among those animal living in deplorable condition when rescued.
