PHEBA -- Game are won and lost in the trenches.
If Hearne Foster has you in his sights, you can chalk it up as a victory for the O-line.
"He leads by example on the field but if he sees someone slacking he'll say something to get them motivated," says Eagles coach Greg Watkins.
Hearne routinely delivers bone-crushing block, but he impressed his coach before the season started.
"He didn't miss any summer workouts or practice and that's what you want in your leaders."
Football is in Hearn'e blood, it's a game that's been passed from father to son.
"My dad played (football) in high school. He's my idol, I've always looked up to him and I want to do everything that he did," says Hearne. "Once I started playing it became my passion."
He'd like to keep his passion alive after high school, molding young players on the same fields where he learned the game.
"I want to go to college maybe play ball in college just get a degree in physical or secondary education, and come back to a small school where I can coach or teach."
