MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) - Middle Tennessee's leading receiver has been arrested along with three other school athletes.
The Daily News Journal reported Monday that senior wideout Patrick Honeycutt and reserve quarterback Nick Coleman were arrested by Mufreesboro police early Sunday morning at their residence.
The 22-year-olds were both charged with providing alcohol to minors. Also arrested were 19-year-old sophomore backup linebacker and special teams player Gorby Loreus and 18-year-old Brandon Hall. Hall signed with MTSU baseball last year but hasn't yet played.
Loreus and Hall were charged with underage consumption. MTSU Athletic Director Chris Massaro said officials were reviewing the situation and "taking appropriate action."
The Blue Raiders take on Mississippi State at home this weekend.
