Updated: Possible Allergic Reactions To H1N1 Vaccinations

The Mississippi State Department of Health says two Caledonia High School students had an allergic reaction to the H1N1 vaccination.

Six other students developed shortness of breath after the shot but didn't exhibit the normal allergic reaction symptoms.

All are reported to be doing well after they were taken to Baptist Golden Triangle.

A spokeswoman for the Department of Health says the agency is looking into what happened at the school.

Lowndes County Schools Superintendent Mike Halford says the vaccinations have been suspended at Caledonia School. The middle school and elementary were also set to receive the vaccination.

Halford says some students checked out of school after not feeling well after receiving the shot.

No health problems have reported at New Hope School or at any Columbus schools, where students are also receiving the shot.

The Department of Health has been in contact with Baptist Golden Triangle doctors and nurses, along with an instructor from the MUW School of Nursing who were administering the shots.

M.S.D.H. says it isn't abnormal for some people to develop allergic reactions to the shots, and they're encouraging the public to get the H1N1 vaccination.

Superintendent Halford needs to check the manufactuer of the H1N1 vaccine given at Caledonia High School.

Vaccine manufacturer Novartis produces an H1N1 vaccine that contains an experimental adjuvant, or booster, MF59 (squalene). Ordinarily, using experimental boosters is illegal. However, since President Obama declared an national health emergency on Oct 23, experimental substances are allowed, and HHS paid Novartis almost a billion dollars for H1N1 antigen and MF59 adjuvant.

The FDA has not approved MF59 because it caused rampant autoimmune disorders in animal experiments. These are disorders where a person's immune system attacks its own body. Possible ailments that might arise include Guillain-Barre syndrome, lupus, MS, heart inflammation, brain inflammation, and spinal tumors, and any of many other autoimmune disorders.

The Novartis vaccine that may contain MF59 is brand named "Focetria". If someone wants to give you Focetria, run for you life.

What did you expect from a product made in China??? Remember all the unauthorized materials used in their products and the recalls?? I can't believe the parents allowed this crap to be put in their kids bodies!!!

I dont know what happened at this school, but someone needs to find out. I know that I will not be getting this shot. It could have been alot worse for my cousin who had a reaction and thank God it didnt. I know that I will pass one day and it will be God's will the way I go, so I am not going to take a shot and make my going any closer.
