JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - Another Mississippi resident has died from
swine flu. The state Department of Health reports 10 deaths related
to H1N1 so far this year.
Health officials say the latest death was a woman in Webster
County, in the north central part of the state.
The number of confirmed cases of swine flu in Mississippi has
risen to 1,208.
Symptoms of swine flu in humans are similar to those of seasonal
flu, with fever, respiratory symptoms and body aches.
According to the Health Department, many of the swine flu deaths nationwide were among people with pre-existing health conditions.
