Christmas Open House events are in Webster County and Columbus.

The plan is to get people to spend money during the holiday season at their local businesses so the money can go back into the economy.

Most downtown businesses in Columbus and Webster County are participating in the event.

It's Friday and Saturday 10:00-5:00 p.m and Sunday from 1:00-5:00 p.m.

The times vary in Webster County, depending on the business.

Some businesses will be giving away door prizes.
