In the short weeks between Memorial Day and the 4th of July, it seems we think about our nation's veterans more often. Maybe, it's because summer reminds us of just how american we are - with family reunions and ice cream and Elvis. And, those moments- some of them with service members in our own families - make us more grateful for the men and women who serve.
