COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) - One man is in the emergency room after his car crashes into a local Dollar General store.
He says he has a history of seizures.
The accident happened about 3:30 Wednesday (7-4) afternoon at the Dollar General on Highway 45 near the Bluecutt Road intersection.
The maroon Buick slammed into a Coke machine, sale racks and another car.
The building didn't suffer significant damage and nobody appeared to be seriously injured.
The two men in the Buick fled the scene on foot.
The driver of the Buick reportedly got a ride to his home.
First responders found him on his front porch.
He had a few scrapes and bruises.
No word yet on any criminal charges.
