COLUMBUS, Miss (WCBI Sports) -- Former Rebel tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi is getting ready to head to London for the 2012 Summer Olympics. Bhupathi, who was a 1995 graduate of Ole Miss will be playing in London for his native country India.

Bhupathi experienced some major success in the realm of doubles tennis, winning doubles events at venues such as Wimbledon, the U.S. Open, and the French Open. Bhupathi will be playing with a new doubles partner however as he and his former and long-time partner, Leander Paes, have gone through a falling out and are no longer on speaking terms. The former Reb' and his new partner, Rohan Bopanna, will go to London to compete in just about a month.
