COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) - Good news for shoppers looking for a bargain on back to school shopping. Mississippi and Alabama's sales tax holidays are just around the corner.
On July 27 and July 28 you will be able to purchase clothing in Mississippi tax free. Alabama's tax-free weekend is scheduled for august 3rd through the 5th. Shoppers there will be able to buy clothing, school supplies and computers a little cheaper.
This is Mississippi's fourth year giving shoppers are tax break and Alabama's seventh.
