PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) - Two pistols, a bow and arrow, and three swords, sounds like a checklist for a wilderness expedition, but those are just a few of the items that Prentiss County Deputies recovered this week, after a series of burglaries in the Cairo Community.

Burglars targeted the Clausel Hill Independent Methodist Church and homes on Highway 365 and County Road 2186.

Other stolen items include a set of speakers, two laptop computers and two prayer boxes.

On the 4th of July, deputies arrested 18 year old Lucas Sims and 2 juveniles.

Sims has been released on a $25,000 bond.

The 2 juveniles were processed and released to their parents.

Almost all the stolen property has been recovered.
