FULTON, Miss. - (WCBI) A Fulton man takes a rocky ride, after losing control of his truck Friday afternoon.

The one vehicle accident happened around 2 p.m.

A passerby spotted David Chilcoat's truck stuck in a ditch, below a bridge on Lake Itawamba Rd.Paramedics pulled Chilcoat from the wreckage, before he was airlifted to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo..

Chilcoat told officials that his Cheverolet slid off the road after losing control on some loose gravel.

Officials say he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash..
