GRENADA, Miss. (AP) - Grenada County supervisors are soliciting proposals for a long-term lease of the publicly owned Grenada Lake Memorial Hospital.

The board of supervisors made the decision this past week.

Board President Chad Bridges says officials decided leasing the hospital was the best option for the county.

Discussions about whether to sell or lease the county-owned facility began in March.

Lowndes and Lafayette counties have sold their hospitals in the last five years and Oktibbeha County supervisors are reviewing their options.
