From the Monroe County Sheriff's Department

Jose Pruitt, 49, of Aberdeen, ,was arrested by Monroe County Sheriff Department July 9th, 2012 and charged with Breaking & Entering of a Commercial Building and Malicious Mischief Felony. Pruitt is accused of stealing copper wiring from U.S. Polymers, Inc. in Aberdeen. The theft  was reported to Monroe County Sheriff Department July 9, 2012. The damage to the plant from the copper wiring being stripped is approximately $250,000-$300,000. Pruitt is currently being held at Monroe County Detention Center. His bond is set at $100,000.
