Fatal Shooting in Tishomingo County

TISHOMINGO COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) -- A man is dead after a shooting in Tishomingo County. According to coroner Mark Wilemon, the victim is 28-year-old Kevin Douglas Long, Jr. Officials say Long, who is from Blue Springs, was shot a mile and a half west of the town of Tishomingo in the driveway of an acquaintance Thursday (7-12) night around 9:20.
Wilemon says three people were detained, but the Sheriff's Office has not released specific information about the arrests. The investigation is ongoing.
