Alcorn Fatal Accident

ALCORN COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) - Mississipp Highway Patrol were dispatched around 12:15 Saturday afternoon, to a crash on US 72 approximately 6 miles west of Corinth.

MHP says it appears Leroy Rogers, 78, of Rienzi, was traveling west on US 72, in a 2002 Ford pickup, when he apparently lost control.
The vehicle left the road, collided into a culvert, rolling over before crashing into two parked vehicles.
Rogers had to be extracted from the vehicle and received fatal injuries from the accident.
A 17-year-old passenger received minor injuries.
