Two Die in Winston County Crash

The one-vehicle crash occurred on Highway 25 in Winston County near Morgantown Road around 10 a.m., Monday. The maroon 1997 Nissan Pathfinder was traveling north when it apparently left the roadway and rolled over in the median. The driver, 48-year-old Jolene McQueen and her 2-year-old granddaughter from Louisville, were both ejected from the vehicle. Both occupants were pronounced dead at the scene by the coroner. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
