Prentiss County Man Arrested on Fondling Charges

On Wednesday, July 11, Prentiss County sheriff's deputies arrested James Lee Thompson, 66, of 108 County Road 2131 in Booneville, based on an investigation and affidavits filed by the victim's parents and charged him with three counts of touching a child for lustful purposes (child molesting).
The arrest came after reports were made by the parents of three minor children.
Thompson's bond was set at $75,000 and he was released the following day on bond.
