PLANTERSVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)-The Plantersville Board of Aldermen vote the relieve the town's police chief of his duties.
After residents voiced their concerns about the chief's performance and the police department at a meeting in early june, police chief Maury Schuh was placed on leave.
The board met last night with Schuh and his attorney, and decided that he would not return to his job as head of the police department.
The interim police chief Shirley Moon will continue to serve as chief until the Plantersville Board of Alderman appoint a permanent replacement.
