Three Trials Delayed in Clay County

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI)- A trio of armed robbery suspects did not go before a judge today. The trials of 35 year old, Lonnie Roby, 34 year old Jimmy Avant, and 26 year old Javontae Parks were continued this morning until October first in Clay County circuit court.
The trio are part of four men who, deputies say, broke into a home on Joe Myer's Road just after three o'clock on the morning of December 29th 2011. They face kidnapping, aggravated assault, sexual battery, and armed robbery charges.
