STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)-  A starkville woman crashes her car into the side of an apartment building. It happened around 6:30 Tuesday night (7-17) at "The Links" off New Light Road.

According to Oktibbeha County Sheriff's Deputy, Chad Garnett, 20 year old Elizabeth Simpson drove her Chevrolet Impala into the side of the apartment. An unidentified man sleeping in the room at the time was treated for minor injuries at the  OCH Regional Medical Center.

Deputies arrested Simpson at the scene. She's charged with driving under the influence. She was reportedly charged with an alcohol-related offense just months ago.
