FROM THE CLAY COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

On July 25, 2012, a joint investigation conducted by the Clay County Sheriff's Department, the Mississippi Agricultural Theft Bureau and the Choctaw Sheriff's Department resulted in the arrests of Kenneth Johnson, 39, of Mathiston, and Johnathan Clinton Hill, 28, of Maben.

They are charged with grand larceny in connection with the theft of a hay baler on Highway 47 in Clay County. Johnson is charged with one count of grand larceny and Hill is charged with two counts. The hay baler was stolen June 3 from a farm shed.

Both individuals are incarcerated at the Clay County Jail waiting an initial arraignment in Clay County Justice Court.
