The good thing for Bruce High School Football is that they will have the majority of their team returning. In fact, they'll have 16 seniors on this years team including a group that has been starters on the Varsity since 9th grade.

"We have high expectations this year. This is the fastest team since I've been at Bruce team speed is going to be a big factor for us" said Head Coach James Ray.

Bruce was plagued by an inability to close out games last season resulting in a few tough losses.

"This team needs to learn how to close out tight games, not the blowout games the fifteen to fourteen games. We have to get over that obstacle in order to make it to the playoffs" Ray added.
