MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) -- Two people are behind bars and two others are on the run after a Monroe County man is robbed. According to Sheriff Cecil Cantrell, 21-year-old Katherine Payne, of Tupelo, and 28-year-old Anthony Loague, of Fulton, are awaiting armed robbery charges in connection with an incident near Black Cat Bottom Saturday night. They are currently in the Monroe County Detention Center.

Cantrell says 21-year-old Candice Richardson, of Nettleton, and Payne lured a male acquaintance to the area where they were met with Loague and another man. The men were allegedly armed with a gun and a stick. The group then robbed the victim of about $1,000 before fleeing.

Anyone with information about where Richardson may be is asked to contact the sheriff's department.
