Columbus Man Pleads Guilty to Armed Robbery

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) -- A Columbus man is sentenced to 10 years behind bars for his part in an armed home robbery that happened in Starkville back in 2010.
According to police, 22 year old Donnie Harris along three others knocked on the door of a home on Reed Road asking to use the phone.
When the elderly woman let the men in they robbed her at gunpoint.
The men took $520 in cash and left.
Harris will spend 10 years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections and will have 4 years of post release supervision.
Just a friendly reminder authorities say, never let anyone in your home that you do not know.
