North Mississippian Faces Jail Time

UNDATED (WCBI)-- A North Mississippi trucker faces an October sentencing in West Virginia. 44 year old Thomas McNeel, of Pontotoc, pleaded no contest to 12 counts stemming from a drug fueled high speed chase beginning in West Virginia and ending in Pennsylvania. Charges include assault and fleeing in a vehicle while driving under the influence. In January, McNeel was sentenced to 21 years in Maryland after he testified he used "bath salts" that morning. He claims he can't remember the chase.
