- Behind The Scenes
The time has come for us to say so long to the comfortable and glamorous conditions. Rain chances increase Monday.
Skies tonight will vary between mostly clear and partly cloudy. Lows will drop into the middle 60s.
A cold front situated to our west will continue pushing southeast over the next 24 hours. Clouds will be on the increase Monday morning ahead of the front. Highs will reach the low 90s.
Energy levels ahead of this front remain rather impressive. Many vital ingredients ahead of the front suggest we could see strong storms Monday afternoon - Monday evening as the front moves through the viewing area. Either way, scattered showers & thunderstorms will be likely. Chance of rain 40 percent.
Heavy wind gusts and hail are our greatest threats, although an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.
Chances of rain decrease Tuesday.
