The West Point Green Wave are still feeling the effects of the 5A Playoff loss last year to Starkville. This year though, according to the Green Wave, things could be different.

"Oh yea we can get past Starkville we beat them the first game and in the second game at the end we just kind of fell apart" said Senior Tez Lane.

"We've got a lot of good players this year coming back a lot of guys that have played before and are in position to do the job" added Senior Trey Bennett.

Head Coach Chris Chambless admitted his team feels the magnitude of each football game. "There's a lot of community pressure here you know they love their football and we're all for this community and we love it too so we're just going to do the best we can for our community and be a bunch of survivors."
