The early morning storms zapped most of the energy in the atmosphere today. Therefore, we don't expect a lot of additional showers and storms from this point forward but a few more cannot be ruled out.

Friday Night: Skies will be partly cloudy and lows will drop into the upper 60s. A stray shower or storm is possible.

Saturday: Skies will vary between partly cloudy & mostly cloudy in the viewing area. There is a slight chance of seeing a pop up shower during the afternoon/evening. Chance of rain is 30 percent. Drier air will be in place thanks to the front sliding south, so our highs will be in the mid-upper 80s. It'll feel like it too.

Sunday: Things get a bit more tricky due to an upper level disturbance that could spark a better chance of rain Sunday. Chance of rain is 50 percent. Highs will still be comfortable and in the middle 80s.

More chances of rain are possible early next week due to moisture increasing from the tropics. We'll be watching Helene as well. Have a great weekend!
