- Behind The Scenes
What a nice Sunday it was. An area of rain currently along the Gulf coast kept our moisture intake low this afternoon. As a result all but a few of us enjoyed rain free conditions and highs in the middle 80s.
Tonight: Another piece of energy currently in southwestern Arkansas could clip the southern half of the viewing are this evening, meaning isolated showers/storms for some of us. If not, then we'll stay partly cloudy & cool in the lower 60s.
Monday: Another upper disturbance will make it's way into the viewing area, prompting rain chances once again during the day Monday. Chance of rain is 20 percent. Once this moves east Monday night, our rain chances diminish and we'll be left with sunny, comfortable and cool conditions through the end of the week.
I've pushed the rain chances Thursday to Friday due to current model analysis. Still too far out to know if this upcoming weekend will be wet or not.
