Tuesday (8-21), they overwhelmingly rejected a 12 mill tax increase to fund capital improvements and infrastructure work.
The final count was 517 'for' the Future Fare Project and 1,170 'against' it.
The vote was certified Tuesday evening.
The project would have generated about 1 million dollars a year.
It would have also meant that property taxes on a $100,000 home would have increased by $120 a year.
