Budget Approved in Amory

AMORY, Miss. - (WCBI) Amory city leaders put a stamp of approval on next year's spending plan.
In Tuesday night's special meeting, aldermen approved their budget unanimously and without comment.
The pass across the board did not come easily for the Board of Aldermen.
City leaders say they've spent months reviewing every number and making minimal cuts to make sure that residents tax money would be wisely spent.
They passed their plan before the September deadline.
