Sanitation Director Named

STARKVILLE, Miss. - (WCBI) Starkville city leaders appoint the city's new director of sanitation.
Emma Gandy was chosen from the a pool of six candidates.
Gandy will now oversee daily operations involved in waste collection, recycling projects, sanitation issues as well as landscaping plans.
Gandy, who has worked in the city clerk's office since 1999, takes the place of Sharon Boyd.
Boyd stepped down from the position in July.
