Video: Atheist Group Erects Billboard In Tupelo

TUPELO (WCBI) -A controversial billboard is catching the eyes of motorists at Tupelo’s busiest intersection.

This digital billboard went up Friday at Tupelo’s Crosstown intersection.   The sign reads “god  Fixation won’t Fix This Nation” and shows the web address of the Freedom FromReligion Foundation.   That’s the Wisconsin based atheist group that monitors governments to make sure they adhere to separation of church and state laws.   The group says this sign is designed to recruit more members in Mississippi. Currently only 100 Mississippians are members.  A Tupelo resident and life long member of FFRF is paying for the billboard.
