Bad Checks Investigation

CHICKASAW COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Chickasaw County deputies are searching for two people in connection with some bogus checks.

Sheriff Jim Meyers says investigators know three stores in the county have been scammed.

The stores are in Houston, Thorn, and Houlka.

Meyers says the checks started showing up in the past month.
