WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) – Some West Point residents are concerned about the costs of their power and water after their latest utility bill.
West Point Water and Light has been transitioning from the old, manually read meters to new, automatic meters.
In the process, some of the meters were programmed incorrectly and some were installed backwards. The errors caused customer bills to be higher than usual or just unreasonable.
West Point Water and Light is urging any customer who thinks their bill is reflecting an incorrect amount to call (494-3124) or come by their office for their statement to be checked.
