Booster Club Officer Accused Of Theft
IUKA (WCBI) – The treasurer for the Tishomingo High School Touchdown Club has been sacked on embezzlement charges.
The Tishomingo Sheriff’s Department says it was called after funds from the booster club could not be accounted for. The investigation led deputies to charge Heather Nicole Potts with embezzlement. Her bond is set at $12,000 and the case will be presented to a Tishomingo County Grand Jury. Investigators turned up another fact about Potts during the investigation. A background check revealed she had been convicted of embezzlement in 2004 using the name Heather Flack.
