PLANTERSVILLE, (MISS) – WCBI – Thanksgiving came early for some elderly, homeless and disabled in Lee
County.

The staff at “Caring Hearts and Gentle Hands” Adult Daycare in Plantersville offered a turkey and dressing meal with all the trimmings.

The free meal was for those less fortunate, the elderly and disabled. Owners at the new business say they wanted to do something to give back to
the community.

“That could be me, I could be the less fortunate and I would want somebody to take care of me like I am taking care of them, it could be my mom, it
could be anybody, and that means a lot to me, that’s what we’re doing. We’re focusing on taking care of the people who aren’t able to take care of
themselves and so today we just want them to come out, look at the facility, see what we have to offer, to feel the love, enjoy the meal, and just to
have fun,” said Vanessa Spragin, owner of “Caring Hearts & Gentle Hands.”

There was also a bingo game, with personal hygiene items as prizes.
