Eugene “Buster” Brown is an impact player for the West Lowndes Panther Baseball team but that is only part of his role. His Head Coach Todd Stanley admits although Buster isn’t the biggest guy, he has a big impact on his teammates.

“Eugene has really come on this year as a leader for us. He is like a coach on the field and is able to help the younger kids which is good because we have a very young team” said Stanley.

“My personal goal is to make the playoffs and make a run at State” added Brown.

When he is not on the baseball field he enjoys working out and riding horses.

“He is a bit of a practical jokester” explained Stanley, ” but the other guys they look up to him because he works hard and when you work hard good things happen and he is enjoying those rewards right now.”
