Chickasaw Consolidation Meeting Set

HOULKA, MS (WCBI) –  Citizens will get the chance next week to have their first formal input into the consolidation of all the  school districts located in Chickasaw County.    The Chickasaw Consolidated School District Commission will hold its first formal meeting next Wednesday.

It’s the chance for residents to get a look at how the plan, which was mandated by the Legislature, could be implemented.   The meeting is set for 10:00 AM at the Houlka Central Office.
