WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) – The second half of a duo that escaped from the Clay County Jail will now spend six years in prison.

Austin Parker, 20, received four years for a burglary of a dwelling charge and two years for the escape charge. He was also sentenced to five years probation.

Parker and Jonathan O’Brien, 21, found their way into an attic space last September and slipped out of the jail.

O’ Brien was sentenced to eight years in prison.
