Video: Columbus Police Select Officers For Drug Task Force

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI-TV) – The Columbus Police Department has selected two officers to join the joint drug task force with Lowndes County.

The department isn’t identifying who the two officers are. The Columbus Lowndes Narcotics Task Force became official last week.

The officers will begin work in march. The sheriff’s department already has its deputies in place on the task force.
