Video: Columbus Salvation Army Donates Food to Residents Affected by April Tornado

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (Press Release) — Residents in Lowndes County affected by the April 28 Tornado can receive food boxes provided by the MS Food Network in Jackson.

The food will be distributed from the Salvation Army located at the 2219 Main Street in Columbus.

The residents must go to the Disaster Recovery Center located at East Columbus GYM, 222 Lawrence Drive or New Hope Community Center located at 381 Stadium Road to resister and receive a voucher for the food boxes.

We also encourage individuals and businesses owners to register for assistance with FEMA by going online to www.disasterassistance.gov or calling 1-800-621-3362 or at the Disaster Recovery Centers.
