Columbus Shooting Believed To Be Targeted

Columbus, Miss. (WCBI) — Columbus police are investigating a shooting that happened Tuesday night in the 600 block of 12th Street North that is believed to be a targeted shooting.

Police responded to the call around 9:30 P.M.

Captain Fred Shelton said the shooting stemmed from a fight at the OK Food Store earlier in the day with the occupant of the house and the two suspects.

Multiple shots hit the home including the water main pipe.

The two suspects are being sought by police.
