A donation of just $20 will provide at least two hard-working GIs a call home allowing them to talk for close to 15 minutes each. While protecting our freedom, American soldiers are disconnected from the things they love most—family, friends, and days when a Monday Night Football bet was their biggest worry. To bridge that gap, WCBI, in conjunction with Cadence Bank and Triangle Federal Credit Union, bring you MINUTES FOR OUR MILITARY in hopes of raising enough money to buy 250,000 minutes of long-distance talk time for overseas troops. It’s not easy—or cheap—to call home from the middle of a war zone. All cards will be distributed to the military men and women who reside in the WCBI viewing area. This includes those previously stationed at the CAFB, the area's reserves and National Guard.
