Conspiracy to Smuggle Drugs into Prison

WINSTON COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Two people remain behind bars after conspiracy of trying to smuggle illegal drugs into the Winston-Choctaw County Regional Correctional Facility

Warden Neal Higgason says, the duo were trying to introduce spice into the prison. 40 year old Trent Dora is an inmate at the correctional facility and approached a guard to help smuggle the drug in.

According to the prison guard, Dora offered to pay the officer if he drove to Starkville to pick up the package from Andrea Brown who apparently was the drug supplier. The prison guard agreed to the deal but really set up a sting operation with Winston County Sheriffs Department, Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Department and Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics.

Brown was arrested. Both are being charged with conspiracy to introduce contraband into a prison.

Dora is already serving 15 years for a robbery out of Noxubee County.
