The Council Of Community Health Fair And Medical Forum

STARKVILLE, Miss.(WCBI)—Spring into a healthier lifestyle was the message, as residents from all over the Golden Triangle gathered for an annual health fair and medical forum.

The Starkville Council Of Community Organization along with the Columbus – Lowndes Chapter Of Links, pulled together healthcare professionals to address a variety of the residents health concerns .

People in attendance, received medical information to take home and free health care screenings.

Dr. Peggy Rogers, spearheads this event every year. She says she feels a sense of obligation, to provide the community as much information as they can to ensure good health

“The Doctors that come give of their time to be out here to answer questions that may not otherwise people get answers to. Having the forum is very important because we want to impact the lives of the people who live in the community,”said Rogers.

This is the Johnson and Rogers Community Center’s 26th year hosting the Health Fair and Forum.
